 ~ My Body ~

[row] [col span=”4″ span__sm=”12″] [ux_image id=”1681″ width=”89″] [/col] [col span=”7″ span__sm=”12″]

I’m not ashamed anymore…  of the body God chose to place me in for this lifetime here…

When I was young, I hated barbie dolls.  Perhaps my soul was preparing me for the very trial I’d face as a teenager and young adult – the area in which I’d labeled, misinterpreted and bullied.  Perhaps we all have this same dynamic in our journeys.  People look us up and down and then slap a label on us, assuming to know who we are and what we’re about based on the outer shell their eyes can see.

As a teenager and young adult I was compared often to the looks of Pam Anderson.  I thought she was absolutely breathtaking.  But the truth in the matter of this “label” brought many challenges into my life with having relationships with other females, male friends and especially in my professional career.

Getting older helped for awhile.  But when divorce hit me & a severe illness, I was miraculously lifted into a season of great healing.  And in the healing came the return of those challenges I’d forgotten how to weather.  Who am I to self sabotage God’s creation (me) in order to play it small in life and avoid judgement by others?  Silly..

I want to be the best version and most beautiful version of this shell – to be “quickened” into perfect health and unapologetic in the process.  I’m honored to have been compared physically to this beautiful woman, Pam.  Thank you God for all of the unique beautiful shells you give to each of us humans.

 ~ My Mind ~

[row] [col span=”6″ span__sm=”12″] [ux_image id=”1682″] [/col] [col span=”6″ span__sm=”12″]

I Love that I fight the good fight of Faith..  It’s all Good..

I believe everything happens for a reason – always leading to the best yet to come.  Many have called me childish and naive for my childlike faith in goodness on the other side of every storm and my desire to keep searching for greater love in all things that come and go.

My wish is to live, laugh, enjoy every minute of this journey and report the good news as my author and finisher of my faith and my story holds the pen and keeps revealing this amazing book called my life here..

For my mind to become a processor of the good – seeing only the good in all things that unfold from here on after…

Walk by Faith and not by sight…

May everything that was broken, torn apart, burned down and destroyed…. be the ashes that God uses as the ink to his pen… to now write a new, beautiful story… with my life..  (and yours too)..

She Goes Up..

As all things sad become untrue

There’s nothing left to say or do

The illusion of control made the movie a thriller

Fear played it’s role on the invisible pillar

Curtain’s closing as she boards her flight

All things hidden will be brought to light

What’s been lost will make a grand return

The author of her story says now it’s her turn…..

Heavenly Father.. I prayed for “real love”… Your Love…

I Will Put My Trust in Him…..

“Here I am, and the children God has given me”

Remember Skyla:  The Book Buried in the Sand…

In 2015, A novel that would never be read by a single human eye was buried in the sand.  In 2022, the author realized her story is happening in real-time.   The plot of the last chapter has been time-stamped:  9.22.22 – to be revealed at the completion of reunion if God ‘s “wheel” leads to this divine event.

The author & finisher of my faith & my story said…

IT IS FINISHED.
